This beautiful little stylized turtle is carved of pipestone by Donna Suitza. Even without all the beautiful inlay, it would be a fine carving. The lines are so clean and crisp. The posture of the turtle (okay, I'm pretty sure turtle moms practically NEVER say "Sit up straight" but turtles DO have posture .. ) is nice too.

Now throw in the colorful, precise inlay of Mother of Pearl, jet, coral and turquoise and you've got yourself one heck of a fine Zuni turtle. Signed on the bottom.
