We've been fans of Jayne's work for almost as long as we've been fans of Lynn's work. (And that's almost from the beginning of
this adventure in Zuni fetish collecting!) Lately, though - she's been knocking our socks off with her innovative work and creative
inlay.
This howling coyote is made of copper complex [for those of you who don't know - here it is again: Copper complex is
generally found where turquoise and copper are mined. It's a composite of (generally speaking and in varying degrees) azurite,
malachite, turquoise, tenorite and chrysocolla.] This particular specimen is high in color due to the chrysocolla and azurite
content. It's a very pretty stone! Jayne has inlaid her coyote with a quarter moon and stars on the right side and a red coral
heartline on the left side. The eyes of the coyote are inlaid of turquoise. You'll not be disappointed by this guy -- and he's signed!
