This gorgeous purple and magenta frog would rival any of those Amazonian poison dart guys with stunning color but he's considerably more user friendly! Bernard has taken a vivid specimen of sugilite to create his signature frog. He's not as large as most at under 2" long, but his personality is huge. The eyes are large and luminous and inlaid of gold-lipped Mother-of-pearl with jet pupils. Just a beauty, eh? And he can be allllllllllll yours. Unsigned.

FROG: Frogs are a motif that are found in much of puebloan art. They are most often associated with water, prayers for rain, and fertility. Even tadpoles, in their various progressions to maturity, are carved into fetishes. Frogs are carved from various materials by many different artists but the carver most associated with frog fetishes would likely be Ricky Laahty.
