What speaks more poetically to the arrival of spring (hey, it's COMING!) than this sweet little butterfuly by Cheryl Beyuka. Carved from green snail shell (orgin: the Philippines), Cheryl has formed the body of the butterfly from the rounded portion of the shell giving the body dimension. She's etched flowers on the wings of the butterfly and then inlaid the centers with red coral. A very sweet reminder that winter doesn't last forever and the flowers will soon arrive.
