Troy is a member of the Haloo family of carvers. He is part Laguna and is widely known for his finely polished corn maidens(some exceeding a foot tall) and more recently his Native Nativity scenes, which are phenomenal carvings.

This is a gorgeous butterfly maiden with head slightly tilted, and is swaying to the music of the dance. She sings a beautiful song of the wonderful life in the "Center Place"- Idiwanna. Troy has inlaid her elaborate robe with red coral, jet and Sleeping Beauty turquoise, and patterned the etchings in a traditional style. She stands almost 3.5 inches tall. She will be your butterfly girl overlooking your collection.
