This iconic profile is seen throughout the southwest and everybody knows a coyote when they see one! Rodney Laiwakete has carved this beautiful turquoise fellow in the howling-at-the-moon pose. He's nicely carved of a glorious stone and, in addition to his inlaid heartline (shell, red coral, turquoise and jet), possesses the most beautiful offering bundle. Rodney has strung bits of melon shell, lapis, turquoise, red coral, heishe and branch coral and used it to anchor the jet arrowhead on the Coyote's back. Initialed on the bottom.
