This pair of wolves was purchased in 1998 from Matt Leo. I had bought Dave a pair of double bears by Al and months and months later he found this pair of wolves to go with them. Apart from being a rare double carving (by Al - known for his singles), the stone is a spectacular specimen of Picasso marble. It's truly dramatic and has lots of great color.

Each of the wolves has shell arrowhead offerings tied on with sinew and red coral seed beads. The eyes are inlaid of turquoise. Traditional, beautifully carved and unusual. Signed.
