It's difficult for me to be impartial when it comes to Lynn's carvings. He has been a longtime favorite. Years ago I could spot his work across a trading post floor like I had radar for it. Back then, he was carving almost exclusively in jet. And his carvings had an organic, comforting feel to them. Despite his exploration into carving a variety of stones, his work still holds a powerful attraction to me.

This magical, powerful bison was carved by Lynn of a spectacular specimen of labradorite. Labradorite must be cut just the proper way or it will lose it's ability to flash fire (similar to an opal). This bison is superb in every way .. up to and including it's fire. Given Lynn's amazing style, this carving will quickly rise to the top as one of your favorites. The eyes are inlaid of turquoise and the buffalo's horns are fossil ivory. Signed .. spectacular and sure to please.
