Dave and I absolutely love it when a carver takes a natural object found in nature and incorporates in his carving. Amos uses shells frequently and we think his turtles are positively charming. This little pipestone guy has an etched belly and turquoise eyes, but apart from the limpet shell that forms his back, there is no further decoration. And none needed! He's adorable.
