This little directional wolf is carved of white marble by Peter Gasper, Jr. Peter is the son of Pete and Dinah Gasper. Their family continues to carve traditional animals in a style that is recognizable. Though similar to each other's work, each family member has slight differences in their carvings which make them unique. And, as a family, they usually sign their carvings but Peter has left his wolf unsigned.


As the guardian of the east, the white wolf is the younger brother of the yellow mountain lion of the north. With his turquoise eyes and bundle, he's not only handsome, but very traditional and symbolic.
