Seems lately Dave and I have not been seeing eye to eye on these fetishes. Recently there was the disagreement about the "llama" (which I thought was a Nessie!) and now HE thinks this is a Stellar jay. I think it is a Kingfisher. Both birds are blue and both have crests but the profile on this little guy is just like a Kingfisher.

So there you have it .. It’s a stellar-fisher!

While we might not agree on WHAT it is, we both heartily agree that we love the deep blue color (Afghan lapis) and that it’s carved by one of our favorites: Maxx Laate.
