Dave and I are very pleased to see some beautiful carvings arriving from Zuni by Georgia Quandelacy. This charming turquoise turtle is a bit of departure for her and we always love seeing
something different. The turtle has an etched shell and inlay of coral. The eyes are inlaid of jet. Measuring about 1.5" long, it's the perfect little one to travel with you on all your journeys, near or far.
Georgia is one of the talented Quandelacy siblings whose mom, Ellen (d.), and auntie Annie (Gasper Quam, also d.) surely started this family on their paths to carving artistry. Avery, Andres, Stewart,
Dickie, Barlow, Wilmer, Albenita (Yunie), Sandra, Faye are the other siblings also known for carving..
