This handsome jet bear comes from Stewart Lasiloo and was originally purchased from Zuni Fetish Gallery (no longer with us) in 2002. Most of the Stewart pieces from recent years are smoothly carved. We particularly like the etched "furry" surface on this big boy. He has angular features, an uplifted face, turquoise eyes and a nice bundle of Mother of Pearl, spiney oyster and turquoise. He is signed though it's hardly legible.
