Troy is an extended member of the Haloo family of carvers and is known for his inlaid corn maiden carvings of all sizes. Some are huge and some are diminutive but most are created from mule deer and elk antler. This cute little tablita maiden is created from a single tine of deer antler and is heavily inlaid.

The eyes are inlaid of jet, the mouth of red coral, the tablita decorated with Sleeping Beauty turquoise dots and the necklace is inlaid of red coral and Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The robe and cape are inlaid of lapis, Sleeping beauty turquoise, malachite and red coral. The conchos on the moccassins are inlaid of Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Very decorative maiden by the Zuni-Laguna master!
