This glorious little maiden is carved from a deep green specimen of turquoise by Randy Lucio. Randy is probably best known for his figurative carvings and this little girl is probably the smallest we've seen.



Despite being tiny, she has big presence .. she is robed, praying to the Sun God and fully encrusted with turquoise and red coral inlay. She has etched hair, jet inlaid eyes and mouth of red coral. She wears a carved necklace and a pendant of red coral.



Beautifully carved and just the right size to carry along with you on all your adventures. The maidens in Zuni are highly revered for their protection and providence to the Zuni people during times of trouble. Sounds like something we could all use today, right?
