This sweet little medicine bear is made of jet (fossilized coal) by Emery Boone. He features a heartline of red coral and turquoise on one side, and a rain cloud on the other. The cloud is made of turquoise, red coral and shell.

Emery often inlays his work with precise, delicate puebloan symbols that reflect the need and appreciation for rain. His parents are jewelers, so his skills were probably learned at their workbenches.

Emery's cousins include Andrew Quam, Prudencia Quam, and Georgette Quam, all well known fetish carvers.
