Another from Dave's side of the cabinet. This LARGE orange alabaster fox was carved by Edna Leki and probably in the late 1990's. At the time, we bought her work from Lena or from the various trading posts around town. Prior to opening Zuni Spirits, we bought frequently from Sedonawolf, IndianSummer & the then ZuniFetishGallery. But we're not sure where this one was acquired, only that it's been ours for almost 30 years.

Superbly carved in the family style, this big boy will be a focal point in your collection. Nicely carved and finished, the offering bundle is particularly stunning and contains a gold lipped Mother of pearl arrowhead, turquoise and red coral. The eyes and nostrils are inlaid of turquoise as well. The only detail is the etching of tail, claws and mouth.

Unsigned, which is typical for Edna and most carvers of the time.
