The definitive "Saul bear", minimally shaped, no detail, no inlay and 100 percent charming.

We saw him frequently in various trading posts selling his wares, admiring the men's woven sashes on a rack, and purposely avoiding "melikas" like us! He wasn't unfriendly, he was just not interested. Maxx Laate told us one day that he would pretend to not understand or speak English, but he did. Who could blame him? He had things to do!

Though it wasn't a stone we saw him use often, we have had a few denim lapis pieces. He definitely favored turquoise, serpentine and alabaster thought. Whatever stone he chose, the outcome was the same, a comforting, healing presence surrounded all his bears.
