We always enjoyed seeing out Zuni acquaintances and friends and considered ourselves blessed to know them. Lena Boone was always warm and friendly and we enjoyed our dealings with her and also bought her work all over town.

I loved the families who continued the traditions taught them by their parents and grandparents, whether it was honoring ancestors, celebrating ceremonies or continuing the legacy of creating Zuni art. Certainly Lena has been generous with her entire family and extended family in sharing her knowledge and skill.

This little turquoise bear is colorful and sweet. He has red coral eyes and an arrowhead offering with turquoise and branch coral. Unsigned.
