Andres Quandelacy has carved this very large mountain sheep or ram, from a pale piece of serpentine. This fetish is large enough to stand alone as a table fetish, measuring over 3 inches in length. The profile of the ram is easily recognizable as his work, but the heartline is a little more elaborate, with alternating pieces of turquoise and red coral forming the symbol of life or breath. The eyes are inlaid of Sleeping Beuty turquoise and the carving is initialed which is unusual for both artist and family.
The ram is beautifully formed, with detailed spiral horns, powerful posture and is nicely finished in the signature style of the artist. Andres is known for his bears, mountain lions and rams, but rarely do we see one of this porportion. Don't hesitate! Add this massive beauty to your collection today.
