Albert is one of many students of uncle Gibbs Othole and has
really taken to the style and grandeur of his uncle. This large table fetish sculpture
is crafted from Colorado white marble and is quite heavy at 3 lbs., .7 ounces! In a departure from
the minimalist style of his uncle, Albert has etched the bear fur. This bruin hears
something in the distance and stands up to get a better view of the intruder.
The raised and rounded eyes of the bear are inlaid of
Sleeping Beauty turquoise and the necklace consists of turquoise and heishe beads
strung in the typical Puebloan style. Bears are the guardian of the west and white bears, particularly are known for their
healing powers. This is a very hefty, substantial sculpture and will be
THE centerpiece of any fine Zuni fetish collection, just make sure it is yours!
